We’re passionate about helping you grow and make an impact.

a note from our President

Dear BTMA Members,

As I step into the role of President of the Bluegrass Tourism Marketing Association, I’m proud of our dedicated group of professionals who showcase the incredible offerings of our region. In 2023, the Bluegrass Region witnessed a record-breaking $2 billion economic impact from travel and tourism. That milestone, representing over 15% of Kentucky's total tourism impact, was only possible due to the hard work of hospitality employees, small business owners, transportation partners, and DMOs. In other words, this was possible because of YOU.

At BTMA, our mission is rooted in expanding awareness of our member businesses, fostering connections among industry professionals, and providing education and mentorship opportunities to ensure a thriving tourism community. Our association, which consists of over 50 organizations spanning every sector of the industry, equips individuals and businesses with the information, tools, and strategies to succeed more easily.

I firmly believe that BTMA will continue to play a vital role in the Bluegrass tourism industry. I encourage you to take advantage of upcoming meetings, forge relationships, bring your ideas to the table, and engage in our educational resources. Together, we can continue building on the momentum our area has experienced, foster more opportunities for one another, and promote our unique and exceptional community.

Warm regards,

Matt Noble
2025 President
