What is a Sound Bath?

A sound bath is a deeply meditative experience where participants are immersed in the soothing vibrations of crystal singing bowls, drums, and other resonant instruments. Sound healing has been used for centuries worldwide to promote relaxation and overall well-being. Benefits include:

  • Deep relaxation – Induces a calming state, reducing stress and anxiety.

  • Nervous system reset – Helps regulate the body’s response to stress, supporting emotional balance.

  • Enhanced focus and clarity – Encourages mindfulness and mental clarity.

  • Energy alignment – Supports the body’s natural healing processes by promoting energetic balance.

  • Improved sleep – Aids in releasing tension and preparing the body for restorative rest.

Meet Amy Hudson

Amy Hudson, a Sound Healer and Reiki Master, owns The Sound Healing Center of Lexington. This thoughtful and relaxing sanctuary emphasizes sound and frequency to promote physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Her journey to opening Kentucky’s only sound healing center is a testament to her diverse background and passion for creating meaningful experiences.

Amy graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BFA in Theatre Design and Technology, where she honed her skills in creating immersive environments for the stage. She spent 11 years as an Event Coordinator at The Thoroughbred Center, managing intimate private gatherings and large-scale events of 300+ attendees. In 2016, she designed and built a tiny house, transforming it into a successful Airbnb and gaining deeper knowledge of tourism and guest experiences. Her combined expertise in design, event planning, hospitality, and holistic wellness culminated in creating The Sound Healing Center of Lexington—a sanctuary where individuals can find balance, restoration, and a sense of peace.

Don’t miss this chance to explore an emerging sector of Kentucky’s tourism industry and experience firsthand the profound effects of sound healing! We look forward to seeing you there.
