Memberships

We typically meet on the first Tuesday of each month to share stories, discuss ideas, and hear from speakers on tourism and marketing-related topics. Every month, there is a different location with a new topic. Click HERE to read our mission statement, goals, and more. If you’re interested in hosting a meeting at your site or have the information you’d like to share with our members, we would love to hear from you!

Membership Dues can be set up as a subscription and renewed annually. We determine the cost by the number of businesses or properties you represent.

You also have the option to pre-pay for your monthly luncheons at the beginning of each calendar year! Pre-payment benefits larger organizations where monthly expense reports and reimbursements can be cumbersome. You may now pay for an entire year’s worth of luncheons for $350 per person!

Pre-Paid BTMA Monthly Luncheons

You can now pre-pay for your monthly luncheons! This option is especially beneficial for larger organizations that find monthly expense reports and reimbursements to be cumbersome. For just $350 per person, you can pay for an entire year’s worth of luncheons. This offer is valid for one (1) member of your organization.

Please note: membership is based on the size of your organization, not the number of individuals who will attend our monthly meetings.

Your membership is renewed annually unless you cancel it.

Benefits of Membership

Members gain access to valuable insights and marketing expertise while enjoying a professional venue to network and promote their business.

Discounted Monthly Meetings

Members receive a discounted price for the monthly meeting. Non-member pricing is $60, and member pricing is $35. The ticket price includes networking, food, beverages, and a variety of programming.

Educational Speakers

We meet once a month at varying locations in the Lexington and Bluegrass areas. At each meeting, a speaker gives a presentation on a Marketing Tourism-related topic, and our members are given a chance to explore local attractions and restaurants.

Next-Level Networking

We take the time to go around the room and introduce ourselves to the group during each meeting. This practice allows us to hear a little bit about you and for you to hear about everyone else. Then, you’ll have the chance to seek out someone of interest and speak to them one-on-one.

Diverse Membership

Membership is open to any organization or business serving in the hospitality and tourism industries. Current members represent businesses in attractions, publishers, convention and meeting facilities, CVBs and tourism commissions, distilleries, wineries, horse farm tour providers, hotels, motels, resorts, B&Bs, restaurants, caterers, transportation, tour companies, and more!

Leadership Opportunities

It’s not often that you have the chance to serve on a board of directors in middle management. BTMA offers open board positions to any member who regularly attends meetings. Many of our previous directors advanced in their careers and personal lives through the experience they gained.

Marketing Opportunities

No matter how many social media apps come and go, nothing compares to meeting people face-to-face and sharing stories. Learning about our fellow industry professionals creates mutually beneficial connections, which are invaluable when it comes to providing excellent experiences for our guests and clients.
